How do I order my Leya Marini wedding dress online?
1.) Brows through our stunning designs representing the modern, cutting edge yet very feminine and sophisticated bride to pick the dress that suits your personality the most.
2.) Have a good look at our measurements charts here: LINK1 and choose your size when placing an order. Don’t worry if some of your measurements aren’t the exact same as the numbers in the chart, just email us immediately after placing an order and send us your correct measurements where they differ from those stated in the charts. You can find guidance on how to take your own measurements here: LINK 2
3.) Choose the colour of your gown. Please note that colours that are displayed on a screen may differ from the actual fabric colours. If you’re in doubt please order a fabric swatch here: LINK 3
4.) Once your order is completed you will receive an email confirmation from us with an estimate shipping date. All our workshops are located in Europe, therefore we allow 8 weeks for the production of your very own hand made bridal gown. This time might be longer should you request changes to the design during the dressmaking process.
6.) We send you an email confirmation when your dress is shipped so you can track it. Shipping to Europe and the US takes up to 5 work days, to the rest of the world delivery lead time may be longer.
7.) When you receive your wedding dress make sure you have some bubbly at home, try on your dress and enjoy the harmony of style and personality meeting in one perfect design. Your dress has the exact measurements you sent us, but in case you got different shoes for example, or anything small needs to be adjusted, the easiest might be to get it done by your local seamstress. If however, you feel that you would like to add a bit more lace to your gown for example, or you wish to change any part of it, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
How do I incorporate my own ideas into the design of my Leya Marini wedding dress I order online?
After having looked at our designs in our online shop please select a gown that is closest to your heart. Please email us at email@example.com and list the parts of this wedding dress that you wish to change. Send us notes such as “ I would like the neck line to be less revealing and higher” or “I would like the skirt to be shorter at the front” or “I would like this dress but with long sleeves”.
We will discuss your design ideas with our Head Designer, Edith Aponte and will get back to you to confirm if we can create your chosen gown incorporating your own ideas to ensure a truly unique design reflecting your personality. Some amendments may have an extra cost. After you received our confirmation by email you can go ahead and order your dress online.
How do I take my measurements?
When measuring yourself please make sure that you wear shoes with the exact same heel height as what you plan to wear on your wedding day. Please wear a slightly padded bra and put on any slimmers or underwear you plan to wear on your wedding day as slimmers for instance can significantly alter your measurements.
In order to get your measurements as precise as possible you have to pick your size from two different charts which are shown below. The first chart shows your general size from Size 6 to Size 14. After this you can pick your ‘height size’ from A to D. Then you add your sizes together, so for example if your general size is Size 10 and your height measurements fit column B of the Height Chart then your size is Size 10 B.
Don’t worry if some of your measurements aren’t the exact same as the numbers in the chart, just email us immediately after placing an order and send us your correct measurements where they differ from those stated in the charts. Please note that if we do not receive your measurements within 2 days from your order we will create your dress based on the measurements of the size you selected.
For help on how to take your own measurements correctly please watch our quick video where our designer Edith Aponte explains all you need to know.
In order to determine your size please have a look at the sizing charts below.
General size chart:
The following measurements are listed in the above charts:
Bust – Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest crossing over your nipples. Keep a finger spacing between your body and the measuring tape.

Hips – Stand with your heels together and measure the circumference around the fullest part of your hips, make sure that the tape is around the fullest part at the back as well. Keep a finger spacing between your body and the measuring tape.
Width of back – The widest part of your back, the distance between your armpits measured across your shoulder blades.
Width of arm – Measure the circumference around the widest part of your arm. Keep a finger spacing between your body and the measuring tape.
Height – Measured when wearing your wedding shoes. The distance between the floor and the top of your head.
Front height – To help put a thin belt or a ribbon on your natural waist line where you measured your waist circumference. Stand up straight looking forward and measure the distance between your shoulder and your natural waist line ‘marked’ by the belt / ribbon at the FRONT across your chest.
Back height - Stand up straight looking forward and measure the distance between your shoulder and your natural waist line ‘marked’ by the belt / ribbon at the BACK across your shoulder blade.

Sleeve length – Measure the distance between your shoulder and the point where you would like your sleeve to end while bending your arm slightly.
Distance between shoulder and crotch at the FRONT – Stand up straight looking forward and measure the distance between your shoulder and crotch in a ‘V’ shape to the point between your legs where your body suite will close. Measure at the FRONT across your chest.
Can I wear a bra with my wedding dress?
Yes. Most of our gowns have an open back therefore we recommend the use of stick-on bras you can get in underwear shops. If however you would like us to insert a built in bra into your gown that’s part of your dress please contact us by emailing our design team at firstname.lastname@example.org when placing an order.
